Quality Responsible, Retail IT Operations

 

will be a member in our second line retail IT support team in Poland. Primary focus will be supporting the company owned, franchise and dealer partner store operations.
The position requires a broad IT knowledge and experience with retail systems is certainly an advantage.
The role will be in close collaboration with external vendors, internal stakeholders and in alignment with business strategy and requirements to ensure that the IT operations are secure.
Polish and English language are a requirement along with good written and oral communication skills. The suitable candidate will be structured, self-driven and able to work off their own initiative, be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment, work within a team and as part of a global organisation. 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
•    Support remote and on-site to 1st line service desk team, local partners, end users and vendors to secure store operations.
•    Installation of OS and 3rd party application software, desktop OS and application support.
•    Configuration, maintenance and support of devices and applications within the retail environment
•    Support with new store openings, migrations, closedowns and align with business needs.
•    Software distribution, updating and patching and rollout to the retail estate.
•    Troubleshooting and coordination of customer and local business unit issues, ownership and escalation of issues if required.
•    Incident management - ensuring accurate information is applied to the incident logging system and timely closure of incidents.
•    Monitoring and Resolving alarms generated from alerts on the supported systems.
•    Communication services configuration, maintenance and support – Network, WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi and associated equipment.
•    Follow up vendors and partners to ensure secure and cost-effective operations in line with agreed SLAs
•    Follow up on agreed quality, security and performance KPI’s to ensure secure and stable operations.
•    Ensure that IT operational routines are fully documented and followed by vendors and internal resources.
•    Training and education of vendors and internal resources
•    Projects – Participate in and own projects relating to the Retail IT environment - Coordination and execution of project plans and tasks.
•    Contribute to improve Retail IT operational quality and excellence by working structured and in close collaboration with BU and other IT departments. Apply a proactive approach regarding operational problems in the station network and informing key stakeholders of outages and resolutions.
•    Support of fiscal hardware, software and standards within the Circle K IT retail environment and towards service partners.
 
Skills/Experience
•    Education in an IT relevant area
•    2 - 3 years’ experience from an IT operational, Field Service, service desk or retail IT environment.
•    Database and SQL experience an advantage
•    Cisco and networking experience an advantage
•    Experience with managing distributed systems and locations an advantage.
•    Experience with managing Microsoft products and systems an advantage.
•    Fiscal hardware, software and standards experience an advantage.
•    Fluent oral and written English
•    Ability to work alone as an individual and as a participant in a team.
•    Driving Licence
